Dear Class,
How is everyone doing? On this page I want you all to take the time to read your Scholastic magazine. Get into the stories and really think about them. I want to see valuable conversations going on about these articles. I love all the articles in the magazine especially the one on Michael Phelps. "School Crunch" and "A Pet's Best Pal" were good too, but the one I found the most interesting was "1 Kid, 1 Vote!" I thought it was so neat how mature those students were. They really made me think... Should we have a class 5-413 president?
Remember, I want to see everyone using their best writing skills. Make sure you are using complete sentences and are checking your spelling constantly. It is also awesome when you notice others mistakes. We all know that when you point it out to them you're just trying to be helpful like a teacher.
